Farm and Hive
Founded by Susie, this family-run farm began as a backyard beekeeping hobby about a decade ago and has since grown into a thriving sustainable homestead. What started with a few hives and jars of honey expanded into producing beeswax products, beef, lamb, pork, goat, and eggs, all raised with organic and simple farming methods. After outgrowing their Utah property, the family relocated in 2022 to a 70-acre farm in Inkom, Idaho, where they continue their mission of promoting self-sufficiency, bee education, and local farming. They specialize in honey production and native pollinators like Mason and Leafcutter bees. The farm also hosts classes, farm tours, and seasonal events in their “Bee Barn,” where visitors can learn, shop, and experience farm life. Moving forward, they plan to expand their crop cultivation, grazing operations, and educational offerings, continuing to grow as a community-centered and environmentally conscious farm.
