Jessica Long Embroidery
After the birth of her son, the artist discovered hand embroidery as a way to slow down, ease anxiety, and reconnect through creativity. Having always found peace in art, she was drawn to the calm, meditative process of stitching — a portable and tactile alternative to painting. Her goal is to help students experience the same joy, relaxation, and fun that embroidery brings her. With a background in biotech and an early passion for natural science illustration, she has always been inspired by nature’s beauty—plants, animals, and the natural world. Life’s unexpected turns led her to become a full-time embroidery instructor and pattern designer, allowing her to merge her artistic roots and love of nature into a collection of embroidery patterns inspired by flora and fauna.
