m.bueno

Mariella, who works under the name m.bueno, began making pottery after a long career in the music industry, where she worked for a record label and ran an all-ages venue. After the venue closed in 2014, she took a ceramics class, quickly bought a wheel, and began creating her own pieces. Mostly self-taught, she started selling her work about a year later. Now based in Olympia, WA, she focuses on making simple, affordable pottery meant for everyday use and easy to mix with existing pieces.
