Madison Bay

Madison Bay Company began in 1976 when high school teacher John Leib founded Leib Image Archives, starting with just a handful of Civil War photographs that soon grew into a carefully curated collection of more than 15,000 historical images. After retiring from teaching, John devoted himself full-time to the business, later partnering with his son, Troy, who joined in 1990. As the business grew, so did its vision. In 1996, the company expanded beyond photographs to introduce historical reproductions and heritage-inspired goods spanning Colonial, Civil War, Western, Native American, and Nautical themes. Their products quickly found homes in antique shops, national parks, historic sites, catalog companies, theme parks, and specialty gift stores across the United States. In 1999, the company moved into a larger warehouse in East Berlin, Pennsylvania, and in 2000 adopted its new name—Madison Bay Company—to reflect its expanded offerings. Today, Madison Bay Company continues to honor history through thoughtfully crafted reproductions and timeless gifts inspired by America’s past.
