Tombow made this eraser partly from scallop shells — at least 10% of it, to be exact — which is one of the more interesting material choices in the stationery world. Beyond the origin story, it erases cleanly with minimal pressure, doesn’t damage paper, and comes in a sleeve made from 70% recycled wastepaper.
